BrisBowl Round 2 20th July 2013

Round 2

Also proudly sponsoring this round are

Mantic are providing some copies of their game Dreadball and accessories.

With the unfortunate event of round 1 being cancelled due to family issues, Round 2 is using Round 1's rule set.

BrisBowl now in it's fourth yea, will this year run as a series of 3 one day events over the year.  Players will earn points over the 3 rounds with the coach/player with highest points being crowned Overall champion.

As mentioned each event will be seperate but will create points for attending. Depending on the number of players will depend on your points. The winner of each round will recieve a bonus 50% of the total attendees, 2nd 25% and 3rd 12.5%. So for example if 16 coaches play first will get an extra 8 pts (24), 2nd 4 (19) and 3rd 2pts (16). If you finished 10th you get 10pts. The overall points winner will receive the series champion trophy and prize.

Round 2

For round one as noted the TV will be 1250 of 4 games with 2 hour limits that will be strictly enforced.

The twist for round 1 one are the sponsors want to see some bang for their bucks.

So coaches have the following options:
1: Bonus 150k to be spent on inducements (cards, apoth, wizard etc)
2: 2 extra skill normal skill that can be stacked on 2 players of your choice (not star players) & 50k to spend on inducements
3: 1 single normal skill and one Double skill can be stacked on 2 players of your choice.
NOTE: you cannot use the 150k to buy players from you TV. You must create a 1250TV team and then get the bonus.

Character solos may be taken but cannot be duplicated across lists (as per SR2012 rules).
Character Units are not permitted.

Game Rules:

In the SR2012 format players can bring one or two lists, the second list is optional. All lists must be led by warcasters/warlocks from the same faction. Mercenary players can use different contracts or theme forces for their lists. Minion players can use different pacts or theme forces for their lists. SR2012 contains scenarios which use reinforcements. Reinforcements are additional points added to a player’s army list(s) that are only used in scenarios with the reinforcements complication. These points must be represented in a player’s army list(s) although reinforcements scenarios may not be played. Detailed rules are found in the complications section of the SR2012 pack

SR2012 allows all released Theme Forces to be used. Anyone using a theme force must have the Theme Force available for the TO’s reference (in order to verify the army list) and for the opponent’s reference (in order to view the Theme Force’s special rules). Permission is hereby granted to photocopy the Theme Forces section from the Forces of WARMACHINE and HORDES books as well as any theme forces appearing in No Quarter Magazine for personal, non-commercial use only and subject to the terms found within those original source materials.
