  1. Slow Going

It seems the mood in particular for fantasy players is dulled, this is particulary so in the case of numbers for WarFest's fantasy tournament with many of the regular players reportedly taking a sabatical until 8th ed has started or simply that they feel game with composition in Australia has killed the fun.

It's hard to say from those I've spoken too it seems a bit from column A & B. With just under a month to go before the tournament I'm hoping the competitive urge comes out in players and we get a few more to enjoy the first tournament in a licenced venue for Brisbane for years.

    Cheers

  2. Well Fantasy at Winter Warfest is now an 8th tournament.

We listened to those out there and decided it couldn't hurt. The whole objective of the weekend now is for players to test out the new system in a fun atmosphere before some of the bigger tournaments later in the year.

From what I've read in the new rule book already it's not that much different except magic is now a lot different and will take some time to get used to and managed.

With just under 2 weeks to go where looking at getting just over a dozen or so players which will make it a fairly relaxed atmosphere.

    Cheers
